Library Information

The Saxton B. Little Library offers collections and services for all ages. In addition to the over 70,000 items available through our own collection we offer InterLibrary Loan (ILL) services and participate in the Connecticard System, allowing Columbia residents to use their Library card at other participating libraries throughout the state of Connecticut. Combined, our staff offers over 80 years of Library experience. All are encouraged to visit our Library, call, or email the staff for comments, questions, or assistance.

Story times take place on Tuesday’s at 10:30 am and again on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. No registration is required.

The Library offers 6 book groups (Adult Fiction, Adult Non-fiction, Beckish Bookworms, Mother-Daughter, Teen Book Club and Middle Grade Book Club).
