With a name like P.J. it's hard to guess if the author is a man or woman. Surprise! P.J. Is the pseudonym for the smash mother – daughter writing duo, P.J. And Traci Lambrecht. It's hard to tell that you are reading a book written by two people as the mysteries they have constructed flow seamlessly. They write their thrillers via email and phone, getting together every other month or so to spend a block of time hashing out the basic plot. There's a lot of humor in these grisly tales and they laugh a lot while conspiring. With Mother's Day just around the corner what could be neater than reading a book by this team.

The Series
Starting with the hit Monkeewrench, a story about a rash of murders mirroring a computer game, there are now four books in the series. Be on the lookout for the fifth which should be published soon.
