     Barry Eisler

Two years ago I was fortunate enough to hear Barry Eisler speak at Book Expo. At that time I had never heard of him but was impressed with his ability to completely captivate his audience. I immediately bought his available books for our library. Since then he has published a few more and his popular series featuring John Rain, half-American, half-Japanese, assassin, has gained many new fans and won numerous awards.

Mr. Eisler states his interest in the forbidden knowledge that is so much a part of his novels began when he was a child while reading a biography of Harry Houdini.

Visit his website at http://www.barryeisler.com/barry.php

and for an interesting interview about the character John Rain see
